Job Responsibilities
As a Parcel Delivery Driver, your day-to-day will include:
- Driving vans, cars, or small trucks to deliver and pick up packages
- Sorting, loading, and unloading parcels for efficient delivery routes
- Following GPS directions and maps accurately
- Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections on your vehicle
- Maintaining trip logs (fuel costs, mileage, delivery notes)
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Lifting and carrying packages up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
What You’ll Need
- 1–2 years of delivery or driving experience
- No specific education requirements
- A valid Class 5/5F/G driver’s license
- Ability to meet physical demands and tight delivery schedules
- Personal cell phone for navigation and contact
- Criminal record check required
- Strong attention to detail and time management
